Coke Can Flower

Been having fun today using coke recycling!  I cut the flower out using Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers die and then embossed the layers with a script embossing folder.  I then used alcohol inks to color the layers and finally hot glued them all together adding a wispy white feather to the back and a black and gold button in the center.  Not sure what I'm going to use it for, but had fun making it.

  1. Very inspiring and beautiful! How do you cut the coke can open?

  2. Hi Sara,

Thanks for commenting! It's really not that hard...a good sturdy scissor can do the trick. I use one that I don't care that much about. I first jab a little hole near the top just below the rim and them cut off the top. I do the same for the bottom and just use the center part.

Would love to hear from you....please leave a comment. Thanks!
